EBERLE TAKES STOCK POSITIVELY

EBERLE a company of the Greiffenberger AG looks confidently ahead after the global economic crisis. This was confirmed by the executive board of the Greiffenberger AG at the general assembly on June 22, 2010. The turnover figures are unambiguous!
The turnover of the Greiffenberger-Group amounts to 51.2 Mio. EUR (last year 39,9 Mio. EUR) after the first 5 months of 2010. The order receipt quantity and total order backlog developed very positively and confirms the upward tendency.
Already, the METAV in Düsseldorf (02/2010) showed the economic trend. Eberle exposed the newly designed booth at the METAV and convinced new as well as retained customers of our high-quality band saw product portfolio.
Not only the positive economic development, but also innovations in the areas of the process engineering; as well as of the portfolio, are mainly responsible for the full order books at Eberle.

The specific objective of the company EBERLE at the world famous Exhibition for Metal EMO in Milan is the launching of new PREMIUM band saw blades. The new carbide-tipped product range CT-flex, and a coated high performance saw blade nanoflex black - both newcomers, complement the portfolio in the PREMIUM sector.

Since July 2009 the new carbide-tipped saw production is already running at full capacity in company EBERLE, Augsburg. In this modern production unit you will find the latest technologies for welding carbide and grinding. Also the further development of tooth geometry for carbide-tipped saw blades has confirmed the innovative leap the company EBERLE has internalized for years.

The continuous monitoring of the changing customer needs is a major trigger for innovative product solutions. This led to the extension of competence in the field of carbide-tipped sawing technology. The consistent implementation of its own carbide production took place in just 6 months.

These innovative band saw blades are launched along with a newly printed saw catalogue at the EMO. The new design convincingly demonstrates a clear and fresh structure. Interesting is the breakdown of the portfolio in a PREMIUM and PROFESSIONAL LINE that enables a quick product overview to the customer. The new surface detection system permits already during the production process absolutely reliable and detailed statements about defects in the production of precision strip steel.

The system separates the sections of these strip steel bands which are defective and hence do not meet the high Eberle quality requirements. Only perfect precision strip steel is allowed to enter the subsequent processing chain, merely the defective segment gets into the waste. The system offers even more features:

It specifies the kind of defect and by means of this analysis future production defects can be minimized at the outset.

Since introduction on the market of the new doctor blade steel at the DRUPA in June 2008, the worldwide testing at our customers' plants is successfully implemented and results in constant, follow-up orders.

The strengths of HiQ|Print 25ER distinctly convince in the application for:

In the EBERLE production and administration areas, continuous process optimization is realised by an intensive improvement program. EBERLE's employees develop creative solutions independently; hence, their participation contributes to the company's success.

The constant reduction of materials and appliances receive special attention at EBERLE. The downsizing of the knife consumption for the slitting machines in our C-steel production line was the beneficial proposal of an EBERLE employee. This suggestion contributed to our cost and environmental managing strategy. By shortening the dipping depth of the knife in the cutting material, a longer machine running time is achieved which has a positive impact on the material flow rate. This optimization measure sustainably supports the appreciation of the company's earning power.
